COGO Pt. VI – Sideshots, stakeout, proportioning [0:23]
$20.00
Part VI of the COGO series takes the learner through the process of calculating the position (coordinates) of a sideshot observed from a traverse station and the converse, calculating “stake-out” data to set a desired point from a traverse station. We then move on to the process of proportioning along a line using examples of the midpoint or other fractional portions of the line, expanding it to the classic, “given that the old survey shows a distance that is different measured with today’s technology, where to locate a point that was shown on the old survey on this line, but which cannot be found today.” Running time 23 minutes.
