This course provides a practical overview of the Missouri DOT Real Time Network (RTN). It is designed to help the practitioner understand what the network is all about. It also provides all the practical details on accessing the system through MO DOT, effectively preparing to use this valuable service, and best practices. In the latter area, the course covers how to make and optimize RTN observations, and explores ways to improve confidence in RTN measurements. The course includes an accelerated look at field observation procedures as well.
